GEIGER · HOW A RE-SORT SHOULD MOVE

Same rows, same data, every time. The only thing that changes is how the table gets from one order to the next. Change the column, then change the movement, and watch the same re-sort again. Nothing here is live — it is your thirteen names with fixed numbers so the motion is the only variable.

1 · SORT BY WHICH COLUMN
2 · HOW THE CHANGE MOVES
3 · SPEED
4 · RULES YOU CAN TURN OFF
5 · MAKE IT MOVE
A tick nudges every value a little, the way a real feed would. Same measure, new numbers — so the order should stay continuous. Changing the column above is a different animal: that is a new measure, and continuity would be a lie.

What to look for. With EVERY COLUMN AS ±1 off, switching columns also switches the visual language — a left-anchored magnitude bar for P/E or volume, a centred signed bar for change and geiger. The transition becomes a jump cut and tells you nothing. Turn it on and every column is the same grammar: distance from that column's own middle, green above, red below. Now switching columns is only a re-rank, so the movement itself is the message. That is the thing you were circling.
